Welcome to church today, one and all! May today in Christian worship be such a highlight for each one of us. Today we are grateful to the elders leading our services and very privileged to have Rev. David Zadokfrom Israel preach the Word here in both of our services. Rev. David Zadok is visiting various churches in Albert in connection with the work of Christian Witness to Israel

Quotes to ponder:

“If we retained a sense of urgency of our task as Christ’s witnesses, we would be more likely to be flexible [with non-essentials] in order to serve [the Lord] fruitfully.” Sinclair Ferguson

“It is certain that not one drop of rain falls without God’s sure command.” John Calvin

“There is no doubt that Adam, when he fell from his [perfect] state [in the Garden of Eden], was by this defection, alienated from God. Therefore, even though we grant that God’s image was not totally annihilated and destroyed in him, yet it was so corrupted that whatever remains is frightful deformity. Consequently, the beginning of our recovery of salvation is in that restoration which we obtain through Christ, who also is called the Second Adam for the reason that he restores us to true and complete integrity.” John Calvin

“This history of man is his attempt to escape his own corruption.” D. Mullis

Ten truths learned preaching through the book of Revelation:

  1. Persecution Is Part of the Christian Life
  2. God Is Sovereign
  3. Christ Is King
  4. All Things Will Culminate in Jesus
  5. The Church Will Appear Dead
  6. Satan Is a Formidable, but Defeated, Foe
  7. Christians Will Be Preserved by God
  8. We Can’t Comprehend the Great Things that Lie Ahead
  9. Justice Will Be Served
  10. Christ Is Coming Soon

‘Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear, and who keep what is written in it, for the time is near. (Rev. 1:3) Behold, I am coming soon. Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book. (Rev. 22:7)’ The book of Revelation is not beyond your ability to understand and believe and obey. Don’t miss out on the blessing promised for all who keep what is written in it.” Sam Storms
