When God therefore puts the question, who maketh thee to differ? And what hast thou that thou hast not received? Let thy soul, reader, answer it with all humility and thankfulness; ’tis thou, Lord, thou only, that madest me to differ from another, and what I have received, I have received from thy free grace.
